Medium is a 3-light bar at 35.4 inches long. Large is a 4-light bar at 47.2 inches. The rule most people use is to aim for the fixture to be between half and two thirds the length of the table, which puts Medium on a table or island of roughly 4.5 to 6 feet and Large on 6 to 8 feet. If you are between the two, size up: a fixture that reads slightly generous over a table looks intentional, one that reads small looks like an accident. The Large also gives you a fourth light, which matters if this is the only light over the surface.

Natural linen with solid wood detailing. Linen diffuses light more softly than glass or metal, so the fixture glows rather than throwing a hard edge, and what reaches the table is even and warm. Because linen is a natural fabric, small variations in weave and tone are normal and are a property of the material.

Around 28 to 34 inches from the tabletop to the bottom of the shade is standard for dining. Over a kitchen island or counter, 30 to 36 inches. Lower feels more intimate, higher spreads the light more broadly. The drop adjusts up to 51.2 inches, so you set it during install.

E26 bulbs, not included, so you can pick your own brightness and colour temperature. Three for the Medium, four for the Large. Use LED: a 15W LED puts out roughly the same light as a 100W incandescent, so the Medium gives you around 300W worth over the table and the Large around 400W. For warm, comfortable light in a kitchen or dining room, look for 2700K to 3000K. The linen already softens the light, so a frosted bulb isn't necessary.

Yes, with an external dimmer switch or dimmable smart bulbs. There is no integrated dimmer in the fixture, so you can use whatever system you already have. If you are on a wall dimmer, make sure it is rated for LED loads.

One. All the lights run from a single canopy, so there is no extra wiring or additional junction boxes.

Dust them with a soft brush, or the upholstery attachment on a vacuum at low suction. Linen is a natural fabric, so don't wipe it with a damp cloth or spray cleaner on it. For a mark, blot gently with a barely damp white cloth and let it dry fully before switching the light back on. Keeping it out of direct sunlight helps the tone stay even over time.
